COMPANY HISTORY
Construction CEG started as a family business in 1983. In 1988, the team completed its first contracts in Quebec’s far north: the on-site construction of airport terminal buildings and several residences.
Construction CEG began to produce prefabricated buildings in 1999, at our facility in Matane’s industrial park, shipping the finished units by marine transport. The first contract involved building 46 houses in Nunavik on behalf of Quebec's housing corporation, the Société d’Habitation du Québec.
In 2004, the company expanded its facilities. Three years later, along with its main business partner, Concept Mat, Construction CEG built a new facility on a large site in the Port of Matane, which greatly facilitates shipment of prefabricated modules.
